Dr. Moryan's Philosophy on Diabetes Management
Dr. Moryan
believes in reasonable diabetes management
that will delay associated complications without the risk of over treatment. Over the past 20 years, diabetes studies that were done produced meaningless data because of an extremely high & unexplained dropout rate. The claim that intensive treatment has an advantage over the traditional treatment cannot be justified based on these studies. Dr. Moryan has conducted extensive research and is well disciplined as an Endocrinologist. He swiftly diagnoses the problem and trains his patients to overcome the challenges of endocrine disorders with a variety of approaches, including medical, pharmaceutical, emotional and life-style management techniques.
The UGDP studies that expressed concern about the increased risk of cardiovascular disease with over treatment with certain groups of Diabetes Medications should not be ignored.
The most important part of the therapy will always be a proper diet & exercise program.
